Karbonn has launched Cosmic Smart Tab 10 tablet in the Indian market. The tablet comes with 9.7-inch 1024x768 capacitive touch display and runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
Cosmic Smart Tab 10 is powered by 1.5GHz dual-core processor alongside 1GB DDR3 RAM. The internal storage is not clear from the specs but it does include a microSD card for up to 32GB of additional storage. Karbonn claims the tablet is capable of 1080p video playback. It comes with a 2-megapixel rear camera and a VGA front-camera.
The connectivity options on Karbonn Cosmic Smart Tab 10 include Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), USB (with dongle support), Bluetooth, and HDMI interface. It comes with a 6000mAh battery. As mentioned earlier, the tablet runs Android 4.1 and comes with pre-installed apps like YouTube, E-Book, Google Currents, Angry Birds Seasons, Turbo FLY 3D, Flipboard, Kingsoft Office, Facebook and more.
This is Karbonn's second tablet with Android 4.1 after it became the first manufacturer in India to launch a budget tablet with Jelly Bean on board.

Let me Tell all about the tablet as you can see im only referring to the specifications MENTIONED at flipkart or the official Karbonn website.
1)Look/Feel:Candy Bar,Black
2)Display: a) 9.7"(24.6cm),TFT LCD
Resolution: b)1026*768(plz look it up im absolutely sure)
Touch: c)10 point Multitouch capacitive
3)User interface: a)Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean(The major advantage after the processor)
Sensors: b)3d G-Sensor,probably an Accelerometer,Motion Sensing(as claimed)
Email: c)Instant messaging,GTalk,Gmail,Push Notifications...
4)Connectivity:WiFi 802.11 b/g/n,3G via dongle,USB,HDMI
5)Camera: 2 Front VGA(used for Calling Skype,Tango... not HD) , Rear HD 2mp Primary.
6)Processor: ***1.5 Ghz Dual Core*** ARM Cortex A9 (Now Thats What im talkin bout)
7)GPU: No information really hard to find (This is that decodes HD Video and Games)
8)Memory: a) 1GB RAM (Good for HD gaming,Video Lot of apps,push,launchers, etc ..)

c)microSD slot upto 32GB (guess class 10 or 12[upto])
9)Battery: 6000mAH (now ur guessing thats a lot well not enough for a 10 inch maybe 7)

A good tablet
I ordered this tab on 24th night and the delivery from flipkart was very fast that i got it on 27 th afternoon. So, from the delivery perspective a heads up to flipkart.
Pros:
1) Processer: 1.5 GHz dual core looks very effective
2) RAM: 1GB Ram (this is same as we get in most of the tablets now)
3) Experienced good Multi tasking with no hanging
4) Video: Quality of display is good and meets the expectation mentioned in the specification
5) Micro SD slot and Mini USB port
6) battery backup seems to be very good.
Cons:
1) Camera: Quality is not good
2) Volume: Volume of the tab is very very low. (I would check this in the coming days and keep posted. But nobody in the review has mentioned about this. Hope to get comments on this)
3) Some of the preinstalled apps like google+ not installed properly. (May be this is in my case)
Overall i would i would say this a good tab to buy but better to check reviews on the volume and camera of this tab to get more info

Great Tablet
I have always used Karbonn products, be it old bar style cell phones, or tabs. this tab is another marvel from karbonn.
Points in favor are:
1. great 1.4 ghz dual core processor
2. 1 gb RAM
3. huge internal storage
4. 9.7 inches screen, which is like an ipad supporting great graphics
5. connectivity by dongles, which is why i can use it with my tata photon
6. android jellybean
7. wifi enabled
8. good preloaded apps like tv viewing
points against are,
1. no sim connectivity
2. poor camera quality
so within this budget, this is a steal. and they have got good service centres also, i can say from my experience
and flipkart service is great. so go for it
@venkatesh, any ipad cover/pouch will work for it. so do not worry
